Kashima Sakagura Tourism Guide Committee

Starting in 2012, the promotion committee that operates Kashima Sakagura Tourism gathered volunteers to serve as guides for the “2nd Kashima Sakagura Tourism.” Reports after the event expressed the need for a guide organization, and in the same year, the Kashima Sakagura Tourism Guide Committee was formally established. At the joint brewery opening held annually in March, you can find them wearing orange jackets. Don’t hesitate to talk to them!

Throughout the year, the Kashima Sakagura Tourism Guide Committee conducts events such as Kashima and Ureshino sake brewery guide education, sake brewery inspection tours within and outside the prefecture, guide training courses, and sake brewing workshops. They also assist with events that promote the sake of Kashima and Ureshino. The committee currently has twelve active members, and is looking to recruit more.
